The Confraternity of the Holy Rosary is an international association of the Catholic faithful established to praise and honor the Blessed Virgin Mary and to secure her patronage by the recitation of the Rosary for the mutual spiritual benefit of all the members throughout the world.

The Confraternity of the Holy Rosary is an ancient apostolate of the Order of Preachers that has led countless people to repentance and maturation in Christ for centuries through the maternal intercession of His Blessed Mother, Our Lady of the Rosary.

Under the care of the Dominican Order, the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary has Provincial Promoters in countries where the Order of Preachers is present. In the Philippines – and also in Indonesia and Sri Lanka – the promotion of the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary is attended to by the Dominican Province of the Philippines to spread awareness to the richness and power of the Holy Rosary. The Provincial Promoters encourage devotees to sign-up for membership in the Confraternity.

The members of the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary strive to pray the complete Rosary (it used to be 15 decades, but with the addition of the luminous mysteries, the inclusion of 5 more is recommended) once a week.

The members, who, along with their own intentions, pray for the intentions and needs of all the Confraternity’s members. St John Vianney said, “If anyone has the happiness of being in the Confraternity of the Rosary, he has in all corners of the world brothers and sisters who pray for him.”
